Chrome vs Opera (Android)

 

  1. Opera has eye protection mode which is helpful for reading at night.

  2. Pages can be zoomed in Opera so you wont strain your eyes much of small letters especially if you have small screen sized phone. This can also be done in Chrome but sometimes it doesnt.

  3. Both have incognito mode.

  4. Opera has VPN for added security when browsing so you wont be tracked. You dont have to install additional app for VPN. Years back opera browser offers free internet for globe/tm users now it doesnt work anymore I think.

  5. Both has the option to save accounts for faster login.

  6. Opera can help you save data. Opera is the first browser I encountered years back which compresses webpages. This is also available in Chrome Lite mode. Compressed webpages can sometimes be problematic for heavy websites.

  7. Both browsers have night mode.

  8. Chrome syncs your browser data to your google account.
