You will start with very few personas but dont worry there will be more available as you progress through the game. As you progress through game. your skills and enemies skills are limited but it will also increase and the game will get more complex. Unlike previous games in the genre you can exit the dungeon once youre almost out of MP and HP using the Traesto skill. You can observe the enemies appearance to figure out its weakness. For example a persona with a bulky appearance means it also has a high vitality. Meanwhile a persona with girly appearance mean its high in intelligence (magic power). There are also more significant features like the color of the persona. A color white persona might mean it has a high resistance against ice or it might even absorb/reflect it. But this it not always the case so be sure to have a full HP when you dont know the enemies weakness to prepare for a payback. Tip for stacking includes you should have many personas in your arsenal. The more personas you have means more bonus damage. Also, if you have more personas with sabbath skills you will increase your chance of activating those skills. If you are worried you might lose this persona with a sabbath skill. You can register it in the Roppo Realm with a fee and re-summon it whenever you wish.

Here are my tips when fusing personas. If you want strong personas in your arsenal. I suggest getting high level personas that match your level. If you have downloaded the DLC's you can increase your level infinitely by battling and using the reward item to level up. Also, fuse personas that have multiple elemental skills and high intelligence at the cost of lower vitality so you can keep stacking in battle. Later in the game you will have the chance to fuse strong personas that are have high vitality and inteligence. When fusing personas, but high level personas at the compendium to maximize the chances of fusing stronger personas or you can negotiate with demons in the dungeon which is more time consuming. Unlike previous games in the genre you can straight up fuse personas regardless of your rank. If you have a persona that has a certain elemental weakness you can erase that weakeness by inheriting a skill that nulls that weakness. For example. a persona like Titania who is immune to every element except strike and shooting attacks can inherit the skill Null Strikes/Shooting to become invinsible to every type of attacks except Almighty/Special skills, but you have to balance this out along with the rest of the party with Almighty & Recarm skills. Almighty skills are very useful for a different type of enemies that different weaknesses, and it cannot be blocked by Reflective skills.
